I had a great vacation in Barcelona last year when I booked in the famous Casa Fuster Hotel. The hotel is a grand modernist building which was build in 1908 and designed by the famous Catalan Architect, Lluis Domenech y Montaner. The building symbolizes all which made the Modernist Era splendid. Most of Moreover, this historic architectural marvel was designated as a world heritage site by UNESCO and was restored to its former glory as one of the most illustrious and unmatched hotels in terms of service and grandeur.

I find the hotel very grand indeed. This five star hotel is located along the historic Avenue de Paseo de Gracia at the very heart of Barcelona, Spain. It has 5 floors and around a hundred rooms. The hotel, being practically neighbors of some of Barcelona’s historic and grand buildings, is the perfect place to stay to reach Barcelona’s main attractions. I really enjoyed the casual walks I had while checking out the various stores and buildings at the heart of the city.

Casa Fuster is considered to be a boutique hotel, offering services to utmost luxury. From the grand view of the hotel building itself to the very smallest details of the hotel’s decorationsi was greeted with nothing but luxury and splendor of the contemporary/modern era. It is if I felt like I went back in time when Barcelona experienced its golden age. The hotel also boasts of great room services, complete with polite hosts and staff that happily guided and toured me around the hotel’s premises.

The Hotel’s historic Café Vienes was also restored to its former state and has been a famous place for relaxation, casual and business meetings. The Café gives of a very tranquil and soothing atmosphere that is perfect to relieve all my stress. Casa Fuster Hotel also has a restaurant that serves exquisite European and Spanish delicacies. With a large viewing deck and a pool, you can also get great views of the city of Barcelona.

If you ever plan on taking a vacation in Barcelona, Spain, Casa Fuster Hotel is a great place to book in. It is not only one of the oldest buildings in Barcelona still in use today. It is also one of the grandest around the world. I really had a wonderful vacation and felt revitalized after months of work.
