The third day was a little warmer. We decided to go by train to suburbs to have a look at the country. It was Karlstein with a castle on a mount.

All the road from the station to the castle was full of souvenir booths. We missed the train back and waited in the station for an hour. In the evening we visited a jazz club. We had to order our table beforehand as it was always full. The entering fare is modest: 80 crowns. The performance began at 9 o’clock. Three musicians were there, all of them celebrities: a pianist, a contrabass and a drummer. The public was of jazz fans and the atmosphere wonderful. Almost half of the public were women. A young girl was serving with beer and nuts, moving quietly between the tables lit with candles. As the room was full, there were many people sitting on the stairs in the hall.
The next day was the wedding itself. It took place in the Town Hall, the ceremony was special and impressive.

When the married couple came out into the square in their wonderful clothes, the people collected in the square applauded. The celebration continued in a restaurant.
